In March 2023, Deviteam organized the Hack2Impact Hackathon in partnership with Huawei at Al Akhawayn University. The event aimed to generate innovative solutions that address key aspects of student life, enhance campus engagement, and improve the overall student experience.

The hackathon brought together 72 students , organized into 22 teams , to develop ideas and present their solutions. The projects were judged by a panel of faculty and industry professionals, including Deborah Bartlett, Mr. Klotz from Devoteam, Mr. Soussi (VP of Cloud and AI at Huawei Africa), Dr. Houda Chakiri, and Dr. Almaz Sandy.

This initiative provided students with the opportunity to apply their skills to real-world problems, engage in collaborative problem-solving, and receive feedback from experienced professionals. The event not only encouraged innovation but also promoted student involvement in projects that could have a lasting impact on campus life.
